Is PETG better than PLA? PETG is more heat resistant and tougher than PLA, making it better suited for functional parts.
Can PETG be used in any 3D printer? Yes, Z3D PETG is compatible with common FDM printers that reach 230 – 250 °C.
Is PETG food safe? Technically speaking, PETG can be food safe, but we do not recommend PETG for food contact because FDM printing creates fine gaps between the layers that are difficult to clean.
