Solvent-free water-based high-performance polymer
The solvent-free dichtol AM Hydro is a ready-to-use, water-based 1-component system used for the seamless sealing and deep impregnation of metals, coatings, and 3D printed objects. Thanks to versatile application possibilities (dipping, injecting, brushing), it is also suitable for impregnating complex components.
AM Hydro exhibits high temperature resistance up to 130 °C.
Tip: AM Hydro remains transparent after curing.
Preparation and Application:
Before application, the pores to be sealed must be thoroughly cleaned of dirt residues and other interfering substances.
There are several ways to apply dichtol AM Hydro:
Brushing:
Apply four times at 1-minute intervals and keep moist for at least 5 minutes to allow the product to penetrate deep into the pores.
Injecting:
Inject dichtol AM Hydro into the desired porous space and allow to react for approx. 5 minutes. Then pour off the excess material.
Dipping:
Dip the object to be sealed into dichtol AM Hydro and remove after approx. 10 minutes; allow the object to drip dry thoroughly.
The sealant dries within 24 hours at 20 °C and 65% relative humidity.
Storage: Store in a dry and cool place (+5 °C to + 20 °C) when unopened.
Shelf life: 5 years.
