Troubleshooting

* Why are there two print profile files (.curaprofile) in the downloaded ZIP?
Default print profile name of the deposited printer = "Normal" => quality_type = normal
Default print profile name of the deposited printer = "Standard" => quality_type = standard

Sometimes, during import, an error message occurs due to a missing "quality type".
The "quality type" in the print profile (.curaprofile) must match the "default profile" of the deposited printer type.
Some printer types do not have a "default profile" called "normal", hence the error message.

In most cases, one of the two profile names "standard" or "normal" should work.

If neither of the two print profiles (.curaprofile) can be imported, the quality type in the print profile file (.curaprofile) must be changed manually.

And this is how it works:

Open our Cura profile (____.curaprofile) with a ZIP program (not with the Windows Explorer but e.g. WinRar or 7-Zip) and open the two files with an editor and change the line "quality_type = normal". Change the word "normal" to the name of the default profile stored in Cura.

Example:

Example:

Save both files, if necessary copy them back into the ZIP folder or into the .curaprofile and restart the import process in Cura.
